Here's the official report from Arsenal.com: "Arsenal are through to the FA Cup quarter-finals after winning the battle of the big guns at Old Trafford. Edu's deflected free-kick late in the first half and Sylvain Wiltord's well-taken second seven minutes after the interval were enough to put Arsène Wenger's side through to the last eight. However Arsenal only took control after an incredible miss from Ryan Giggs midway through the first half. Having beaten both David Seaman and Sol Campbell, the Welsh winger managed to miss the unguarded net from the edge of the area. The visitors capitalised on the mistake and, after the second goal, had the game by the scruff of the neck. By the end of the game, the Arsenal supporters were in full voice and were singing of their intention to return to Old Trafford for the Champions League final in May. Wenger's side return to European competition on Tuesday and, perhaps with one eye on that game with Ajax at Highbury, the manager omitted Dennis Bergkamp from the squad and left Thierry Henry on the bench. With Wiltord starting up front alongside Francis Jeffers, the experienced Ray Parlour returned on the right. The start was frenetic and passionate with Paul Scholes, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Patrick Vieira all booked in the first seven minutes. The opening salvo came in the 12th minute. Giggs ended a sweeping move by helping the ball to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on the edge of the area and he drove a low shot against the base of the post. However Arsenal then wrestled control and forced a series of corners in quick succession. Yet they had no clear chances to show for their endeavour. The most obvious effort was Lauren's weak shot from the edge of the area. On the half hour, only the outstretched leg of Martin Keown prevented Van Nistelrooy wriggling free a few yards from goal. Then came Giggs' incredible miss. As Keown slipped, the Welshman latched onto a long ball forward. He dribbled past the Seaman, who had come to the edge of his area, and flicked the ball past Sol Campbell in the D. This left him with an open goal and no defender anywhere near. Incredibly he leant back and lifted his shot over the bar. It was a let-off and one Arsenal capitalised upon 10 minutes before the break. Roy Keane felled Vieira five yards outside the area, Edu and Pires lined up to take it. In the end the Brazilian stepped up and planted his shot against the wall however it deflected off a defenders head and gently floated into the United net with goalkeeper Fabien Barthez left wrong-footed. Manchester United were stunned and, although they raised their game before the interval, Arsenal held on until the break. Seven minutes after the resumption, it was 2-0. Edu slipped a perceptive pass to Wiltord on the edge of the area. He evaded the tackle of Wes Brown and side-footed home from 15 yards. It was his first goal since November 16 against Tottenham and, of course, it was also the cue for delirium among the travelling supporters. As you might expect, Manchester United upped the tempo once again. Just past the hour, Beckham crossed the far post where Giggs had stolen a few yards of space. However his attempted volley bounced into the grass and flew well wide. Then Solksjaer nodded into the side-netting from Keane's cross and Scholes flashed a shot narrowly wide from 25 yards. With 17 minutes to go, Wenger swapped Henry for Jeffers, who after his goal-scoring England debut in midweek, had worked tirelessly for the team today. It stretched the play and, despite abundant energy from the home side, Arsenal held on to a famous victory that, in part, made up for their defeat in the Premiership earlier this season."
